KLD Cheerleaders™

Cheerleading requires cardiovascular stamina and a good deal of strength and flexibility. Cheerleading incorporates dance styles and technique with gymnastic/acrobatic skills. Students will learn Drill and Motion technique incorporating the use of pom poms, Cheer and Chant skills incorporating correct breathing and Tumbling/Stunting skills in various positions such as “base”, “flyer” or “spotter”.

KLD commenced cheerleading classes in 2004 and after only 5 months training were announced as “Victorian State Champions” and proceeded to National Level success.

Kerryn Leanne Dance & Performing Arts is the home of the"KLD All Stars", “KLD Devils” and “KLD Angels” Cheerleaders.
